Ronald Wilson Reagan

WADE CARRIER
Wade sings bass for MHQ and manages the quartet. He was born in Newport News, VA.  He is the youngest of two children.  He has one sister.  Wade started singing at the young age of five years old and has been singing ever since. Wade has sang bass since he was fifteen years old in different choirs, ensembles and quartets.  When Wade started singing at fifteen in the ensemble at his church he was a second tenor and told his director, Tom Jaquette, that he wanted to sing bass.  Tom told him to start singing everything in a lower register so Wade got to work listening and singing with three of the best bass singers in Southern Gospel music George Younce, JD Sumner and Tim Riley.

Wade has been married to his lovely wife, Davia for 31 years and has one son and two grandsons Eli and Liam. Wade is one of the founding members of MHQ when it started in June of 2005.  He was saved at the age of fifteen and currently works as a  Moh's histotech. His favorite Bible verse is Matt. 7:7.

DAVIA CARRIER
Davia was born in Greenville, SC at Bob Jones University hospital.  She is the second child of five, three sisters and one brother.  Davia's father is a preacher so she has had the privilege and honor of being raised in a Christian home.  She comes from a very musical family.  All her siblings and their spouses sing and some play instruments.

Davia is married to the bass singer in the group, Wade Carrier.  They were married on July 31st, 1982.  They have one son Brandon who is married to Courtney and they were blessed with two beautiful grandsons, Eli, on September 3rd, 2011 and Liam, on November 22, 2012. Davia sings tenor for MHQ and has been a member since 2007.  Her favorite verse in the Bible is: Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  She was saved at a summer camp around the age of eight years old.

RAY BENNETT
Ray and his wife Lorrie Bennett and their three children, Colby, Josh and Ashlynn, live in Suffolk, VA.  He and his family are members of Wilroy Baptist Church in Suffolk, where he serves as the Worship Leader and Deacon in the church.  Accepting Christ at the age of eleven, I was raised on the front pew of Southern Gospel Music.  From an early age, I enjoyed listening to the local groups in the area sing, never imagining  that one day I would be doing the same thing.  I have had the privilege of singing on stage with some of the best Gospel Singers known, the bestever was my journey with The New Journey Trio.  God blessed in so many ways.  I feel truly blessed with the opportunities that God has guided me through over the past 15 years of singingabout His word.

My prayer is that something that is said through the message of a song will bless someone in some way, but most of all is to reach lost souls for Christ.  We all seem to go through the good and bad times of life, not understanding why God puts these valley's in our path. But as it says in the song "Till The Storm Passes Over", God never lets go of His childrenand He is always by our side.  My favorite book of the Bible is the book of Psalms.
